Last updated: 15 May 2026 · Version: 2.0
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Welcome to TCOG Journey ("the Service"), operated by The Chain of Good Mentorship Foundation. By using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
For users under 18: Your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf before you use the Service.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
TCOG Journey provides a free educational career exploration tool for users aged 9 to 18, offering:
- An interactive career assessment (30 questions)
- Personalized career sector recommendations
- Educational resources about career pathways and skills
The Service is for personal, educational, and non-commercial use only.
3. NATURE OF RECOMMENDATIONS
3.1 Educational Guidance Only
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
All career suggestions, scores, and content are educational guidance only. They are NOT:
- Professional career counselling or psychological assessments
- Predictions or guarantees of future success
- Substitutes for qualified professional advisors
- Medical, educational, financial, or legal advice
3.2 Factors Influencing Results
Your results are influenced by:
- Your responses on the day you took the assessment
- Your current interests (which will change as you grow)
- Algorithm limitations (30 questions cannot capture your full complexity)
- Many factors we cannot measure (opportunities, circumstances, effort)
3.3 Recommended Actions
We strongly recommend you:
- Discuss results with parents, guardians, teachers, or career counsellors
- Research recommended careers independently
- Retake the assessment as your interests evolve
- Treat results as one tool among many in your exploration
- Consult qualified professionals for important decisions
3.4 No Guarantees
We make no guarantees regarding:
- Accuracy or reliability of recommendations
- Future career success or employment outcomes
- Academic performance or educational results
- Suitability of any career path for your circumstances
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
4.1 Your Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that any decisions you make based on the Service (including subject choices, school applications, career paths, or training investments) are made:
- By you (or with your parent/guardian if under 18)
- At your sole risk and responsibility
- With understanding that the Service provides guidance only
4.2 Our Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
TCOG Journey, The Chain of Good Mentorship Foundation, and all associated parties (trustees, staff, volunteers, partners, contributors) ARE NOT LIABLE for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from:
